Surya Dev Group Mahapuja Trimbakeshwar Nashik 15th Jan 2024

Celebrate the auspicious occasion of Makar Sankranti (15th January 2024) by participating in the Surya Dev Mahapuja, and invite blessings of success, prosperity, health, and auspiciousness as you embark on the New Year. Rudraksha Gemstones Puja Services is hosting a grand celebration of Makar Sankranti with a Mahapuja in the holy city of Trimbakeshwar, home to the revered Trimbakeshwar Jyotirlinga. On this special day, devotees honor Surya Devta, Lord Vishnu, and Goddess Mahalakshmi. According to legend, Goddess Mahalaxmi chose Lord Vishnu as her consort during the churning of the Oceans (Sagar Manthan) on Makar Sankranti.

This day marks the beginning of the Uttarayan period, signifying the Sun God's move to Capricorn and the start of His northward journey lasting six months. Lord Surya, the Sun God, is venerated as the great benefactor on this occasion, symbolizing the end of winter and the onset of spring, prompting gratitude towards the Sun for its life-giving warmth.

The Surya Dev Mahapuja involves a sacred Vedic fire ceremony, or Homa ritual, where offerings such as ghee, grains, and 108 herbs are presented to the consecrated fire. This ritual seeks the benevolent and protective presence of the Sun, fostering inner illumination, vitality, and spiritual growth. The Sun, revered as Surya or Aditya, holds a significant place in Hinduism, symbolizing light, warmth, and life. Worshipers express reverence and gratitude for the Sun's blessings, associating it with knowledge, wisdom, and enlightenment. The objectives of performing the Surya Homatamak Mahapuja include seeking good health, name, and fame, realizing self-power and leadership qualities, attaining prosperity and abundance, and achieving success in objectives.

The accompanying Surya Vedic and Beeja mantras further enhance the spiritual experience. The Mahapuja, conducted in Trimbakeshwar, involves 12 priests and takes place from 09:00 am to 05:00 pm IST. The comprehensive Puja service includes various rituals such as Kalash Sthapana, Panchang Sthapana, 64 yogini Pujan, Shetrapal Pujan, Sankalpa, Ganesh Laxmi Pujan, Abhishek, Navgraha Pujan, recitation of planetary mantras, invocation of major deities, Surya Idol and Yantra Abhishek, Surya Kavacham and Surya Strotra recitation, and Havan with 108 ahutis of Ark wood. The Puja, performed at the temple in Trimbakeshwar, promises to be highly rewarding, aligning with the sanctity of the ancient Shiva temple and its status as one of the twelve Jyotirlingas.

The live streaming link will be provided before the puja begins, allowing you to witness the sacred ceremony remotely. Ensure that you provide your WhatsApp number for seamless communication. Rudraksha Gemstones priests will perform the Puja based on Vedic rituals and birth details provided by participants. The group puja allows you to include your near and dear ones in the ceremony. Experience the divine energy and blessings of the Sun through this enriching and spiritually significant Surya Homatamak Mahapuja.
